Client Background
The client is a five-star resort in the Maldives that had recently undergone a repositioning, a shift that meant its management structure needed to be rebuilt to match its new brand standard and service positioning, not simply maintained.
The Challenge
Rather than filling one vacancy, the resort needed four management-level roles filled simultaneously as part of its repositioning. This is a materially harder problem than a single search: each role needed to meet the resort’s new luxury standard, and the roles needed to work together as a functioning leadership team from launch, not arrive as four independently sourced individuals with no shared operational rhythm.
The timeline pressure was real, a resort mid-repositioning can’t afford a slow, staggered hiring process without risking the momentum of the relaunch itself.
